Please note:

  • The Voluntary Leavers Scheme payment paid to you if you leave under the scheme will be calculated on your substantive base salary only. Allowances, overtime and bonus/performance related pay are all excluded for calculation purposes.
  • The Voluntary Leavers Scheme payment is calculated based on a number of weeks’ pay depending on your continuous length of service in your contract of employment. This will be based on completed years of service.
  • For calculation purposes, a week’s pay is your substantive annual base salary divided by 52.17.
  • There will be a minimum Voluntary Leavers Scheme payment of £4,000, if you have more than one year’s service
  • Up to £30,000 of the Voluntary Leavers Scheme payment could be paid tax free, subject to HMRC guidelines. Any voluntary leavers scheme payment above £30,000 will be subject to taxation.
