World Cup of Stations 2025 – Nomination Phase Terms and Conditions
1. PROMOTER
The promoter is Rail Delivery Group company number 08176197, a UK company with registered office at First Floor North, 1 Puddle Dock, London, England, EC4V 3DS (“the Promoter”).
2. COMPETITION PERIOD
The Competition nomination phase commences on Monday 1st August 2025 and concludes at 23:59 hrs GMT on Friday 22nd August 2025.
3. ENTRANTS
3.1 The Competition is open to submission of stations in Great Britain (England, Scotland, Wales)
3.2 To participate, an individual must submit a nomination for a station as part of the World Cup of Stations 2025. Submissions may include a short written case study and optionally an image.
3.3 Multiple entries are permitted.
3.4 Submissions must be received before the Competition end date on Friday 22nd August 2025. Late, incomplete, invalid and/or corrupt submissions will not be accepted and will be disqualified. No responsibility will be accepted by the Promoter for lost entries and proof of transmission will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
3.5 With regret, it is not possible to return any submitted entries.
3.6 (a) All individuals making a submission must be happy to have the photos shared with Rail Delivery Group used by the company for marketing purposes related to this campaign.
(b) Individuals submitting into the competition must also have confirmation from any other person(s) featured in the photo that they are happy for Rail Delivery Group to use the images for marketing purposes related to this campaign.
(c) Photos of individuals in submissions under 18 years of age will need permission from a parent or guardian, and confirmation that they are happy for Rail Delivery Group to use the images for marketing purposes related to this campaign.
4. SELECTION PROCESS
4.1 All eligible entries will be reviewed and considered for shortlisting.
4.2 Shortlisted station nominations may progress to a public voting phase as part of the World Cup of Stations 2025 campaign.
4.3 No prizes are offered or awarded as part of this nomination phase.
4.4 Entrants will not be individually notified of the outcome unless required for further participation
5. GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
5.1 By submitting a nomination, entrants agree to these terms and conditions, and to the privacy policy of Rail Delivery Group: https://www.raildeliverygroup.com/privacy-notice.html
5.2 The Promoter reserves the right to amend these terms at any time.
5.3 The Promoter reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to:
(i) cancel, suspend and/or modify this Promotion, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures, a change in applicable law or any other factor beyond the Promoter's reasonable control impairs the integrity and/or proper functioning of this competition; and
(ii) reject any submissions/entries, if it deems that there has been or may be, whether intended or otherwise, any: (a) breach of any of these terms and conditions; and/or (b) infringement or potential infringement of any third party rights and/or intellectual property; and/or (c) defamation or potential defamation of any persons, companies, intellectual property, institutions, cultures or similar; and/or (d) offence or potential offence caused, howsoever arising; and/or (e) breach of any laws, regulations, codes (including moral codes), uses, guidelines and generally accepted etiquette rules required from any internet users, platforms, providers, hosts and/or sites and similar.
5.4 In submitting a nomination, entrants agree not to post any detrimental content on any social media platform and/or in any other mediums.
5.5 Any personal information provided (including but not limited to entrant’s name) must be valid and truthful. The Promoter accepts no responsibility or liability for any incorrect, false or fictitious personal information provided to it.
5.6 The Promoter can contact the individuals using personal data submitted for the purpose of administering and/or promoting this Promotion.
5.7 By entering this Promotion, each individual is providing information to the Promoter who undertakes to process such individuals’ personal details in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("Privacy Law") and (ii) any applicable laws implementing the Privacy Law in the territories where entrants are resident ("Applicable Laws").
5.8 The Promoter’s decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
