RDG’s TIS accreditation process covers systems that sell or issue tickets to travel on the National Rail network including Ticket Office Machines, Ticket Vending Machines, On-Train Devices, Web-based Systems and Apps.
The team arranges accreditation of ticketing systems and clarifies technical details in the RDG Standards against which the Ticketing Systems are accredited. Only accredited Ticketing Systems have access to the RDG applications that support retailing of National Rail products. If your retail system is or plans to write data to ‘Lennon', reserve seats in the National Reservation System or place sales on the Live Sales Management application, you need to talk to us. We also ensure consistency in the presentation of data by the public-facing systems and ensure the face of a ticket issued to travel is in accordance with standards, whatever method of fulfilment is used.
