For public fares, children up to 6 years old travel free. Children up to 14 years old are eligible for a 50% reduction on the adult fare. Persons aged 14 and older pay the adult fare.

FIP discounted tickets may be purchased on train, but a supplement will be payable. No supplement is charged when the journey starts at a station with no booking office.
Berth reservations in international sleeper trains incur a 10% service tax.
Holders of FIP Coupons must pay a supplement for travel on trains which are priced with Global Fares. The FIP discount is applied to global fare tickets for holders of the FIP Card.
Break of journey is allowed during the validity of the ticket.
Charges apply to the transport of luggage. Enquiries should be made at a station booking office before boarding a train.
FIP facilities are valid on rail replacement buses, but not valid on any other bus services operated by ŽPCG.
