ROGS post-implementation review

ROGS post-implementation review

The Office of Rail and Road (ORR) and the Department for Transport (DfT) launched a stakeholder survey on the 23 November 2020 to gather information on how ROGS is working as part of the second post-implementation review of the regulations.

The responses and experiences gathered from this survey will also be used by DfT to draw any conclusions or recommendations about how ROGS could be changed in the future.

Find out more about the online workshop on 8 January 2021.

Online workshop 8 January 2021

RDG, RIA, and RSSB would like to invite you to join an online workshop/webinar on the topic of the ROGS post-implementation review.

This is the first in a sequence of cross-industry webinars where RDG, RIA and RSSB are working together to support the industry during 2021. Future events will cover post-Brexit standards and legislative framework which will be led by RSSB during February 2021, followed by another session on the review of the interoperability regulations led by the RIA during March 2021. Specific dates for these later events will be provided by the lead organisations in due course.

It is evident that there are numerous views, opinions, interpretations, and misunderstandings about ROGS, it’s role, requirements, and different party’s responsibilities. The aim of this workshop/webinar is to ensure that parties who may be responding to the consultation can do so fully informed and with a consistent understanding.

You will hear from a range of presenters giving different perspectives from across the industry, details of which will follow. The presentations will be followed by a question and answer session with the speakers.

The workshop/webinar will take place on Friday 8 January 2021 from 10:00 to 12:00.

If you would like to participate in the workshop/webinar then please send an email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. by 11:00am on Tuesday 5 January 2021 to confirm your attendance.

We can then use your confirmation email to send you an MS Teams invite for the session and it will give us an idea on the number of attendees. A full agenda will follow in advance of the workshop.
