This news item applies only to non-safeguarded staff who entered rail service after 31 March 1996 and hold the Rail Staff Leisure Card. It does not apply to safeguarded employees issued with the Staff Travel Card, or Network Rail employees issued with the RST Online Leisure Card.
There are two options to get the NR only priv discount set on an Oyster Card.
Option 1 – at selected London Underground stations
Certain London Underground stations are able to set the NR only priv discount on an Oyster Card but you need an authorisation form from RST. If possible please try to avoid peak times.

To obtain the authorisation form from Rail Staff Travel.
- Submit the TfL Privilege Oyster Application XX19 form on the RST website. You will need to include the registered Oyster Card numbers on our application.
- RST will e-mail you the Authorisation form within 4 weeks which you will need to print off and take with you to one of the London Underground stations listed above.
Your Oyster card must be registered – if it isn’t please go to the Oyster Registration website.
Staff at the underground station will use their ticket vending machines on the station concourse or entrance hall to set the discount for you.
The discount remains on your Oyster card for the validity of your Rail Staff Leisure Card.

The discount can be set at the following Elizabeth Line stations, between the times shown in the table.
