Standard Plus accommodation on London Northwestern Railway services

London Northwestern Railway are trialling a Standard Plus product through late 2026 into early 2027. Details of the trial and the product are available on the  London Northwestern Railway website.

During the trial, West Midlands Trains employees are being asked not to travel in Standard Plus to assess the effectiveness of the trial.

If you have Standard Class facilities (a Standard Class priv-rate ticket or a Staff Travel Card with a dated box), you may upgrade to Standard Plus by:

• Purchasing an upgrade online
• buying a public‑price upgrade on board from the Senior Conductor

Customers travelling with first class facilities may also use Standard Plus, subject to availability.
