Fares regulation reform

From Summer 2018

Following the first ever public consultation for customers, businesses, passenger groups, stakeholders, employees and the public, we have developed proposals to government to overhaul fares and ticketing regulation so that customers can have confidence they are buying the right ticket.

'In Partnership for Britain’s Prosperity’ is the industry's single, long-term plan to secure a stronger economy, better customer journeys and more rewarding jobs on the railway. Our four Commitments for Change aim to set Britain’s railway on a course to deliver more for customers, communities, the economy and our people.
